Continuity of Harappan Legacy Over Time
it was thought that the Harappan culture and traditions introduced by them vanished around 1500 B.C. However, it has been observed that there is a continuity in the Harappan legacy till modern times. The continuity is reflected in the modern settlements and settlement planning, basic crafts and sciences. It is possible that after the decline of Harappan culture, the Harappan population spread in the periphery area and kept alive the Harappan tradition and craft. These aspects have continued from generation to generation till modern times. The presentation gives an account of the Harappan tradition continuity and its relevance.
